This morning, the police suddenly broke into the office of the Frontline Socialist Party at Melder Place in Nugegoda and conducted a search.
Before the police came there in uniform, a group dressed in civilian clothes had arrived. The group, without revealing their identity, was hanging out around the garden where the party office was located. The group, who wandered around without identifying themselves, then left the place when the people who were staying at the party office kept asking them about their identity.
Shortly after the group left, a uniformed police team came to the place in a van, inspected the entire office and the surrounding area, stayed there and recorded the identity of the members and left. When asked why they are collecting information like that, they also did not have a proper answer.
