Taking into account the current Covid-19 disease situation, an announcement signed by the Director General of Health Services, Dr. Asela Gunawardene, has been issued strongly recommending the wearing of face masks in domestic premises, public places and when using public transport services.
It states that after a few months, the number of covid infected people and covid deaths reported from Sri Lanka has increased in recent days.
Yesterday, 75 people infected with Corona virus were reported from Sri Lanka.
Due to the risk of the spread of the corona virus in the country, the Ministry of Health requests the people to wear face masks.
