The Criminal Investigation Department has now forwarded the necessary documents to the International Police to bring back to Sri Lanka the son of a former state minister who has been accused of burning down the house of President Ranil Wickramasinghe.

That is along with a red notice order obtained by the court against him.

It has been reported that the deputy minister’s son left for Dubai the day after setting fire to Mr. Ranil Wickramasinghe’s house and then went to England from there.

Investigations by the Criminal Investigation Department have revealed that this deputy minister’s son was involved in gathering the public in front of Mr. Ranil Wickramasinghe’s house. He has even released a live video for it on social media. The Criminal Investigation Department has also made the video as proof of their investigations.
