Member of Parliament Mr. Wimal Weerawansa mentions that the support of the Union of Independent Parties will be given to MP Dullas Alahapperuma in tomorrow’s vote to elect the successor president.
Mr. Wimal Weerawansa says that tomorrow is the day when an all-party national agreement will be reached and for that the support of the 16 MPs from the independent parties will be received for the victory of the MP Dullas Alahapperuma.
Mr. Wimal Weerawansa mentioned that this is the option that has been waiting for the beginning and this is the only way to create political stability.
This was stated by MP Wimal Weerawansa in a press conference held today in Colombo.
