Mr. Postmaster General Ranjith Ariyaratne states that it has been decided to raise the service charges for foreign mail with effect from the first of August.
Meanwhile, he mentioned that the acceptance of postal items to the countries of America, Netherlands, Israel and Russia has been suspended.
The Postmaster General added that this decision was taken due to the restriction and suspension of flights to Sri Lanka due to the ongoing fuel crisis.
