Mr. Mahinda Yapa Abeywardena has officially announced a while ago that Mr. Gotabhaya Rajapaksa has resigned from the presidency from yesterday (14).
For further action, Parliament will meet at 10.00 am tomorrow (16).
The Speaker said that all MPs will be informed to attend the meeting.
