A special gazette notification has been issued placing several institutions under the Ministry of Defense.
It was by Acting President Prime Minister Ranil Wickramasinghe.
Accordingly, several institutions including the Board of Investment and the Department of Immigration amd Emigration have been transferred under the Ministry of Defense.
