Two Singaporean companies will be responsible for supplying fuel for 08 months

The Cabinet has approved the awarding of a contract to supply fuel to Sri Lanka for a period of 08 months from today to January 31 next year to two Singaporean companies.

A proposal made by the Minister of Energy, to proceed with the relevant activities, was approved by the Cabinet.

Accordingly, Overseas Enterprises (Pvt) Ltd. of Singapore is to be awarded the contract to import petrol of 92% lead and PetroChina International Singapore (Pvt) Ltd. is to be awarded the contract to import another stock of petrol with 92% lead and super diesel from Sri Lanka.
