According to political sources, some special discussions regarding the formation of an all-party government will be held today (10).
A special party leaders’ meeting of Samagi Jana Sandanha is scheduled to be held today (10) and its Secretary General Mr. Ranjith Maddumabandara said that the meeting will be held this morning with the aim of taking urgent political decisions regarding the forming an all-party government and the political situation that has emerged.
Samagi Jana Balawega leader opposition leader Sajith Premadasa, Sri Lanka Muslim Congress leader Rauf Hakim, Tamil Progressive Alliance leader Mano Ganesan, All Ceylon People’s Congress leader Rishad Badiuddin and other party leaders representing the Samagi Jana Sandhana are scheduled to participate in this special party leader meeting.
Meanwhile, a meeting of the leaders of the 9 party group, including the National Freedom Front, is also scheduled to be held today, according to the report.
Sri Lanka Communist Party Vice President Mr. Weerasumana Weerasinghe said that there will be a long discussion about the all-party government.
