It is reported that prominent businessman Mr. Dhammika Perera has resigned from his position as Minister of Investment Promotion.
He held the position of minister for a short period of 16 days.
There was no investment promotion ministry before and it was newly established this time.
Mr. Dhammika Perera entered Parliament as a National List member of the Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna after the resignation of former Finance Minister Basil Rajapaksa.
