Mr. Muditha Peiris, Chairman of Littro Company, says that domestic gas cylinders will not be released to the domestic market until the 7th.
He mentioned that until then gas supply will be done only for essential services.
He also mentioned that steps have been taken to import 33,000 metric tons of gas to Sri Lanka this month.
Its first ship is scheduled to arrive on the island on the 6th.
Mr. Muditha Peiris also said that with the resumption of supply, the price of a Litro gas cylinder may increase.
If there is no fuel then they have to be inactive .
But the Govt keeps doleing out incorrect information .
