He is currently being questioned at length by the CID.
That is regarding the attack on the Galle Face protesters on the 9th.
Meanwhile, summonses were issued today (24) for three persons including former Minister Johnston Fernando to appear in the Colombo High Court on the 4th of next month.
The summonses were issued in connection with a case filed by the Bribery Commission in 2010 alleging that Sathosa employees were legally removed from their duties and made them engage in political activities during his tenure as the Minister of Trade incurring heavy losses to the government.
summonses have also been issued against former Sathosa chairman Eraj Fernando and its former acting director Mohamed Zakir.
