Muditha Peiris, the new Chairman of Litro, today (15) stated that the former management of Litro had acted irresponsibly by not ordering any gas tanker in addition to the ship currently unloading 3900 metric tons of gas.
He says that 3900 metric tons of gas is a very small amount and it is sad to mention that this huge gas crisis cannot be solved by that amount.
He also said that Litro has requested for an increase in gas prices.
He was speaking to the media today (15) after assuming duties as the new Chairman of Litro.
