The team led by Dr. Anuruddha Padeniya has been elected unopposed to the Executive Committee of the Government Medical Officers’ Association (GMOA) and the Central Committee.

This is the 11th consecutive time that this team has been elected to the committees of the GMOA.

The 95th Annual General Meeting of the Government Medical Officers’ Association was held yesterday (11) and the members of the Executive Committee and the Central Committees were appointed.

Dr. Dharshana Sirisena has been appointed as the current Chairman of the Executive Council of GMOA. It replaces Dr. Anuruddha Padeniya who was its Chairman for a long time. Dr. Padeniya had not competed this time.
