Six persons including the President of the Podujana Teachers’ Union Wasantha Handapangoda have been arrested by the CID today in connection with the attack on the Galle Face protesters on the 9th.
Among the suspects arrested along with her are the son of the Mayor of Moratuwa, a Colombo Municipal Councilor and three Moratuwa Municipal Council employees, said police spokesman SSP Nihal Thalduwa.
