Former Minister Wimal Weerawansa’s wife Shashi Weerawansa has been sentenced to two years in prison and fined Rs. 100,000 by Colombo’s Chief Magistrate Buddhika Sri Ragala today.
That is by announcing the verdict in the case regarding a fake passport.
She is accused of violating immigration laws and possessing a passport obtained with forged information and another diplomatic passport.
