Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe says that the 21st Amendment Bill to the Constitution was presented to the Cabinet today.
That was after the Committee on Amendments to the Constitution met today to discuss the matter.
The Cabinet has decided to distribute copies of the Amendment Bill to the Parliamentary Party Leaders for the observation.
Thereafter, the amendment will be sent back to the Cabinet for final approval.
