Opposition Leader Sajith Premadasa has called on the people not to resort to barbaric violence by setting fire to property and harassing people.
Violence inherits destruction and the country has experienced such devastation for decades.
Therefore, at this crucial juncture, everyone should act peacefully and calmly, says the Leader of the Opposition.
He also said that there was no escape for anyone who attacked the youth and the people who were fighting for democracy.
