The chairman of Litro told the media that the public is urged not to wait in line to buy domestic gas.
Litro Gas says they does not currently have stocks of gas for domestic use.
The company says that currently, LP gas cannot be released for domestic use and is released for industrial purposes only.
He said that payments will be made today for two ships to arrive in the country carrying gas stocks.
Accordingly, two ships carrying 3500 metric tons of gas each are scheduled to arrive in Sri Lanka next Friday and Saturday.
