The Railway Trade Union Alliance says that a one day strike will commence from 12 midnight today.
Co-convener of that union S. P .Vithanage stated that the train strike will be held in support of the island wide hartal campaign to be held tomorrow (6).
He said that about 40 railway unions are participating in this.
Meanwhile, the President of the Sri Lankan Lottery Sellers’ Association, Krishan Marambage stated that sellers will withdraw from the lottery sales activities tomorrow (6) in support of the Hartal.
