The proposal made by Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa to implement the 19th Amendment to the Constitution with the necessary and timely amendments was approved by the Cabinet at its meeting held this afternoon (25).
The inaugural meeting of the new Cabinet was held under the patronage of President Gotabhaya Rajapaksa at the President’s House this afternoon.
During the meeting, the motion was proposed by Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa.
