The Association of Importers of Essential Commodities has said that they expect a slight reduction in the prices of essential commodities.
That is with the commencement of the importation of goods under the Indian credit facility.
It is expected that within the next two weeks it will be possible to start importing goods under Indian credit facilities.
As the rupee deppreciated against the dollar, prices of essential commodities rose sharply.
