Archbishop Malcolm Cardinal Ranjith has left for the Vatican this morning at the special invitation of His Holiness the Pope.A group of victims of the Easter attack in Sri Lanka has also joined the tour.
It is to visit His Holiness Pope Francis. Accordingly, more than 60 people have left for the Vatican for this visit.
Archdiocese Director of Mass Communication Fr. Jude Krishantha, said the cardinal had informed the pope of this during a meeting.
