Director-General of Health Services Dr. Asela Gunawardane, requested people to cooperate with the health authorities to combat the pandemic situation.
He said wearing masks even indoors is a must under the present circumstances since the latest variant is airborne.
He said it should be done to avoid a crisis situation in the country.
