Leader of the Opposition Sajith Premadasa has signed the no-confidence motion against the government and the impeachment motion against the President brought by the Samagi Jana Balawega with his group of parliamentarians at the office of the Leader of the Opposition yesterday (12).
The Leader of the Opposition said that the Samagi Jana Balawega had come together to stand with the hearts of the people who were fighting on the streets against the government and that they would work for all possible democratic victories in Parliament.
In addition to the no-confidence motion and the impeachment, the opposition will continue to fight for the reversal of the 20th Amendment and the re-enactment of the 19th Amendment, and for the victory of all democracies through constitutional means, he said.
