The Chen Glory ship has arrived in Colombo today from India with 11,000 metric tons of rice for the Sinhala Hindu New Year.
Last week alone, India supplied 16,000 metric tons of rice to Sri Lanka.
The Indian High Commission in Sri Lanka says that these supplies, which mark the special bond between India and Sri Lanka, will continue further.
