The OIC of the Western Provincial Intelligence Division has been removed with immediate effect and transferred to Nugegoda for normal police duties.
The transfer was made by a Chief Inspector of Police.
Instead, another officer who was serving in the Western Provincial Intelligence Division has been appointed.
The transfer order has been issued with the signature of the IGP.
