The leader of Japan’s Yakuza organized crime network and three Thai men have been arrested in Manhattan, USA, for allegedly attempting to obtain surface-to-air missile launchers to give to anti-government rebels in unstable countries.

Takeshi Ebisawa, Sompak Rukrasarani, Sompob Sinhasiri and Suksan Julnan have been arrested in the last 4 and 5 days.

The U.S. Department of Justice says the men were arrested on charges of buying and trading weapons made in USA, drug and arms trafficking, and money laundering.
