Deputy Parliament Speaker resigns

Deputy Speaker Ranjith Siyambalapitiya has submitted his resignation letter to President Gotabhaya Rajapaksa today.

This was due to the decision of the ruling Sri Lanka Freedom Party to function as an independent group.
