Full vaccination will be mandatory to access public places in the country from April 30.
Director General of Health Services Dr. Asela Gunawardena says that only 54% of Sri Lankans have received the booster dose.
He noted that this was not a satisfactory percentage.
Once it exceeds 80%, they can be trusted to have immunity.
Dr. Asela Gunawardena said in some countries they have removed the usage of masks as well.
