The National Dengue Control Unit states that 733 dengue patients have been identified from various parts of the country during the past week.
The unit further stated that 12,034 dengue patients have been identified so far this year.
The National Dengue Control Unit further stated that a rapid increase in dengue patients is also seen in Colombo, Gampaha, Kalutara and Jaffna districts.
The National Dengue Control Unit states that 47 Health Medical Officer’s Zones in the country have been identified as Dengue High Risk Zones.
