The Department of Railways states that from today onwards train seats can be reserved online.
Accordingly, train seats can be reserved on all routes through the website https://seatreservation.railway.gov.lk/.
It is also possible to book tickets for long-distance trains from Colombo Fort to Beliatta, Badulla, Jaffna, Trincomalee, Talaimannar, Kandy and Badulla.
