Udaya Gammanpila, who was recently removed from the post of Minister of Energy, has resigned from another post appointed by the President.
That is from the post of Chairman of the Seethawaka Regional Coordinating Committee.
The letter of resignation sent to the President states that he will resign as he thinks it is inappropriate to continue in this post which is an executive post after being removed from the post of Minister.
