The leader of the Democratic Left Front, Minister of Water Supply and Drainage Vasudeva Nanayakkara has informed President Gotabhaya Rajapaksa in a letter that he will not attend cabinet meetings again until justice is done to Wimal Weerawansa and Udaya Gammanpila who were removed from their portfolios.
It is learned that the Minister has stated in his letter to the President that he will not continue to serve as the Minister of Water Supply and Drainage.
Mr. Nanayakkara also stated at a media briefing held last Friday with the participation of the leaders of the joint parties that he will abstain from duties of the post of Minister until justice is done to Wimal Weerawansa and Udaya Gammanpila.
