The Ministry of External Affairs says that arrangements are being made to facilitate travel to Sri Lanka via Moscow for Sri Lankan students in Belarus who wish to come to Sri Lanka temporarily.
In this regard, the Embassy of Sri Lanka, in conjunction with the Embassy of the Russian Federation in Belarus, has arranged to issue immigrant visas on an emergency basis to travel through Moscow for such students.
Accordingly, the Ministry of External Affairs kindly instructs all Sri Lankan students in Belarus who wish to make a temporary visit to Sri Lanka to travel through Moscow.
The Embassy of Sri Lanka maintains close ties with all universities in Belarus, providing higher education to about 1,561 Sri Lankan students.
