Sanctions on Belarus

The European Union (EU) has decided to impose new sanctions on Belarus.

The European Union (EU) has said in a statement that they have imposed sanctions over Belarus’s support for Russia in the Ukraine crisis.

As a result of the sanctions, Belarus will have to suspend releasing products to the European market.

Belarus supplies fertilizer to the European market. However, Belarus is geographically close to Russia that produces crude oil.
