IGP C.D. Mr. Wickramaratne is infected with the Covid 19 virus.
He is currently being treated at a private hospital in Colombo, police said.
A PCR examination conducted at the Police Hospital yesterday revealed that the IGP had contracted Covid.
A few days ago, the police headquarters revealed that IGP’s son was also infected with Corona.
