The house where journalist Chamuditha Samarawickrema is staying has been attacked by an unknown group this morning.
A complain has received to the Piliyandala Police that a group of four persons arrived in a van had attacked his house in the Cambridge Court Housing Scheme in Piliyandala.
Police say that the main entrance of the apartment complex was forcibly opened and the security guard of the apartment complex was threatened with a pistol.
The group then pelted stones at Chamuditha’s residence and fled.
Piliyandala Police stated that security cameras are also used in conducting investigations.
