Indian Premier League (IPL) auction has been abruptly stopped during the Sri Lankan cricketer Wanindu Hasaranga’s bid at the player auction held today
That is shortly after the auctioneer, Hugh Edmeades suddenly fell to the ground.
He was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital and reports say that he is fine now.
However, steps have been taken to further monitor his health.
IPL auction 2022 sets to resume at 3.30 pm after the lunch break.
