The Public Utilities Commission says that there will be no power cuts until the 14th.
The commission points out that there will be no power cuts as there is sufficient power generation to meet the demand.
However, this situation can only be maintained if the people use electricity sparingly, said the chairman of the commission Janaka Ratnayake making a special request from the public.
