Speaker Mahinda Yapa Abeywardena has been appointed as the Chairman of the Committee on Parliamentary Affairs.
Meanwhile, Prof. Charitha Herath has been re-appointed as the Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on Public Enterprises (COPE).
Anura Priyadarshana Yapa has been elected unopposed as the Chairman of the Committee on Public Finance.
