Ceylon Electricity Board (CEB) Chairman Mr. M. M. C. Ferdinando has tendered his resignation.
It will be effective from February 01.
In the letter dated today (26th) he has stated that the reason for his resignation is a personal reason.
In his letter, Mr. Ferdinando congratulated the CEB and the Board of Directors on their future work.
It is reported that he has thanked President Gotabhaya Rajapaksa for recommending him to the Minister of Power and Energy.
