Minister of State for Pharmaceuticals, Supplies and Regulation, Prof. Channa Jayasumana says that there are indications that the spread of the corona epidemic will end with the Omicron variant.
Due to this, the government is not going to buy an additional 4th dose of the Covid vaccine, he said.
But if a 4th dose is needed, a purchase method is in place, he said.
