The fuel storage terminal at the Hambantota Port has been awarded the Fitness for Service.
It has been awarded by Lloyd’ Register-HP, an organization that provides consultancy services to marine and offshore industries.
Lloyd’s Register Marine & Offshore Asia LLP, in liaison with HIP’s energy services department handled the process of certification.
The Hambantota Port is located ten kilometers off the trade artery thank links Europe with Asia.
