US Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin has been diagnosed with the corona virus.

The U.S. government says the Secretary of Defense’s condition is not serious and that he is currently under home quarantine.

In a statement, the US Secretary of Defense said that he last met with US President Joe Biden on the 21st. He said he had no symptoms at the time and had not been diagnosed with the virus during the corona test that day.

“I have informed the relevant authorities and the President that I am infected with the corona virus. My associates are still being identified and tested.” He had stated.

Sixty-eight-year-old Austin is a senior four-star Army general who served in the U.S. Defense Forces. Austin also took his third dose last October.
