Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi is scheduled to pay a two-day visit to Sri Lanka early next month, reports say.
His visit is aimed at further strengthening bilateral ties.
His visit to Sri Lanka is expected between January 7 and 9.
The high-level Chinese delegation led by the Minister is scheduled to meet with government leaders and senior officials.
Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi last visited Sri Lanka in January 2020.
During this high-level visit, China is expected to present a number of investment proposals.
