Pakistani PM assured justice on Priyantha Kumara’s killing

Pakistan premier Imran Khan had pledged Sri Lanka president Gotabaya Rakapaksa to bring the perpetrators to book over the brutal killing of a Lankan in Sialkot in Pakistan on Firday, December 2.

While in Abu Dhabi, President Rajapaksa had received a phone call from Premier Khan on Saturday assuring that Pakistan government which has already arrested more than 100 extremists who were responsible for this heinous act. Khan said the perpetrators will be subject to the laws of the land which rejects all forms of extremist actions.

Pakistan’s Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi also called his Sri Lankan counterpart Gamini Lakshman Peiris, who is also in Abu Dhabi and had expressed his deep grief and condolences. He ensured Minister Peiris that Pakistan leadership will ensure all perpetrators will be brought to justice swiftly.
