Traffic has been severely disrupted due to a landslide on the Galigamuwa-Boyaganaya road on the Kegalle-Avissawella road.
Due to this, the police are requesting drivers and pedestrians to use alternative routes.
Meanwhile, the National Building and Research Organization has warned of landslide-prone areas in six districts.
Areas at risk have been identified as Kandy, Kegalle, Kurunegala, Matale, Nuwara Eliya and Ratnapura districts.
