The revenue of the Sri Lanka Transport Board has increased to Rs. 65 million during the past year, said its Deputy General Manager A. H. Panduka Swarnahansa.
He stated that 4700 buses have been added to the SL transport service so far under the Sri Lanka Transport Board.
It also includes 1600 inter-provincial buses and 1400 Sisuseriya buses, the Deputy General Manager said.
He also stated that the Sri Lanka Transport Board is constantly working to provide a quality transport service to the people.
