State Minister of Consumer Affairs Lasantha Alagiyawanna stated that the shortage of cement in the market will end within the next two weeks.
He said that once the shortage is over, the people will be able to buy a bag of cement at a price of Rs. 1,275.
State Minister also stated that the relevant companies are currently in the process of releasing around 100,000 cylinders of gas to the market daily and the shortage of gas in the market will gradually disappear.
